Entry Requirements
Applicants on the Distance Learning Diploma Course should have an accredited TESOL (in TEFL, TESL or both) or equivalent certificate with at least 120 hours of input sessions. In addition, applicants should have proof of having worked as a teacher for at least one year from the date of their qualification.
Participants on the course are required to attend a 5 day orientation workshop held at the Teacher Training Centre in Bangkok at the beginning of the course. Participation in these workshops is a course requirement.
All participants on the course should have access to an internet-enabled computer for the duration of the course in order to access online information, contact the supervisor and participate in peer-study discussion sessions.
Applicants interested in joining the Distance Learning Diploma Course should, therefore, fulfill the following entrance criteria:
- have an accredited 120+ hour TESOL/TEFL/TESL qualification
- have worked as a teacher for at least one year from qualification
- have access to an internet-enabled computer for the duration of the course
